Kathmandu, February 21: Nepali Congress MP Dr. Chandra Bhandari has said that the government should investigate based on the statements made by US President Donald Trump about Nepal.
He made this statement on Thursday, writing on social media Facebook. MP Bhandari said that there is no one bigger than the country and there can be none, and that the government should take a serious look into what happened and what is happening.
“US President Trump’s statement has raised many questions! National thugs who seek to weaken the country, society, and culture should not be given any consideration. What is happening? The government should investigate”, he wrote on Facebook.
US President Trump had informed about suspending aid given to Nepal, calling it a “fraud.” In a recent statement, Trump stated that $20 million was allocated to strengthen Nepal’s federalism and $19 million was allocated to biodiversity conservation.
