Kathmandu, February 20: Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has decided not to visit India. Earlier, Deuba was scheduled to leave for India today, but it has been cancelled, said Krishna Prasad Poudel, Chief Secretary of the Nepali Congress Central Office.
Deuba’s visit was postponed at the last minute as he was unable to fix any high-level meetings in India.
Until last night, the India Foundation was campaigning that former Nepali Prime Minister Deuba would be attending the Global Summit program.
It was reported that Deuba was going to attend the ‘Kumbh Global Summit on Development and Sustainability’ being organized by the India Foundation in Prayagraj.
