
Kathmandu, December 9: Visiting US Assistant Secretary for South and Central Asian Affairs under the outgoing President Joe Biden Administration, Donald Lu, called on DPM and Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel today.
During the meeting held at the Finance Ministry, they discussed the effective implementation of the US aid projects under the MCC and USAID, among others.
Minister Paudel, on the occasion, said that Nepal has achieved political stability and the main priority of the government is financial prosperity.
The Minister also requested to provide additional aid for Nepal.
Lu expressed the satisfaction that although some countries in South Asia faced financial problems, Nepal has been able to achieve economic progress and stability.
Lu also said that he is of the view of increasing aid for Nepal.
