
Kathmandu, December 19: President Ramchandra Paudel, under the recommendation of the Cabinet, has appointed Dr Shankar Prasad Sharma as the Nepali Ambassador to India.
In a notice issued by the President’s Office, Sittal Niwas, it is stated.
Sharma also served as the Ambassador to India but the previous government led by Pushpakamal Dahal had recalled him without completing his tenure in India.
Earlier, Sharma was appointed Ambassador to India from the Nepali Congress Quota. Again, when the UML-NC coalition government was formed, Sharma was appointed Ambassador to India.
