RPP has appealed to its cadres and the general public to present outside the airport at 1 pm. The party has also fixed the route and schedule of the rally program to move from the airport to Nirmal Niwas, Maharajgunj via Ring Road.

Security has been widened accordingly amid grand preparations for the former king’s welcome. According to the decision of the district security committee meeting chaired by Kathmandu’s Chief District Officer Rishiram Tiwari, security personnel of different agencies will be mobilized.

As per the plan prepared for integrated security arrangements, Nepal Police will deploy the required number of troops in Kathmandu on Sunday. Kathmandu Police will make security arrangements in the area from Tribhuvan International Airport to Nirmal Niwas in Maharajgunj considering it as high security sensitive.
