Kathmandu, December 19:  Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli said that political confusion, instability and corruption have crossed the limit and the present government had to be formed with the cooperation of two major parties.

In a program organized on Wednesday on the occasion of the 37th foundation day of the Nepal Oppressed Caste Liberation Society, the PM who is also the Chairman of the UML, said that the new government has been formed to give political stability and good governance.

PM Oli said that provision is made in the constitution to ensure social justice and equality. “People are the same. No one is born superior. It is not acceptable to say that one is superior or of a great caste by birth. The government does not recognize such things”, he said. PM Oli said the present government is ready to eliminate ethnic untouchability and communalism. Saying that no one can be happy by experiencing inequality, injustice, untouchability and suffering, he emphasized that inequality and untouchability should be removed to be happy.

President of the Nepali Congress and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba said that in order to ensure racial equality, social reforms are also necessary in addition to compliance with the constitution and laws.
