
Kathmandu, 5 July: The prohibitory order in the Kathmandu Valley enforced since April 29 following the second wave of Covid-19 has been extended until July 15 with removal of odd-even rule of vehicle operation. It will come into effect from Tuesday, July 6.
A meeting of Chief District Officers of all three districts in the Kathmandu Valley on Sunday decided to continue prohibition on gatherings, meetings, conferences, religious and any type of programmes including cinema halls, party palaces and fitness centres. All kinds of shops will be allowed to open till 6.00 pm, however, schools, colleges, and tuition centres will remain closed.
