Talks with Biplav in progress
Kathmandu, 22 February: The government has held different rounds of talks with the underground and banned the Nepal Communist Party led by Netrabahadur Chand Biplav.
The government is secretly holding talks with the Biplav group with the plan of giving a surprise gift to the Nepalis, said a source.
The government has assured the leaders of the underground party of lifting the ban on the party activities and also assured to release the party’s leaders and workers arrested by the government.
Finance Minister Bishnu Rimal, foreign Minister Pradeep Gyawali are cording with the leaders of the Chand led party and talks are in progress, reports state.
