Kathmandu, 19 April: The cabinet meeting decided to end the winter session of the parliament today.  The cabinet meeting held this morning decided to recommend President Bidya Devi Bhandari to end the winter session of the parliament.  The winter session was begun on 7 March following the Supreme Court verdict of reinstating the parliament against Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli’s act of dissolving the parliament. The reinstated parliament was unable to do any business due to the position of the political parties in the parliament.  However, the government is bound to start the budget session of the parliament by end of May as the government compulsorily present the budget for the new fiscal year on 29 May and the government’s policy and programme earlier to the budget presentation.   People's News Monitoring Service
