
Kathmandu, August 4: The Patan High Court has released Durga Prasain on bail.
A bench of Justices Sudershan Dev Bhatt and Munindra Prasad Awasthi of the High Court, Patna, ordered the suspension of both the case and the banking case related to the royalist movement.
Prasai has been asked to deposit Rs 25 lakh in the bank account. Although it is not possible to say that he is innocent immediately, the court has ordered to release him on bail in view of the fact that he is suffering from cancer.
Similarly, the High Court, Patna, today ordered to release of him on bail amounting to three lakh rupees in the case related to the violent protests organized by him in Tinkune. The bench of Justice Tankaprasad Gurung and Justice Dilliratna Shrestha issued the stay order in the case of murder, duty killing, life-threatening industries and criminal nuisance against the state.
