Kathmandu, September 12: According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 36 people died during the Zenzi protests.

Secretary of the Ministry Dr. Vikas Devkota said that according to the information received from hospitals across the country, 36 people have died so far.

At present, 284 injured people are being treated in 52 hospitals across the country, he said, adding that a total of 1,771 injured people have been treated. The hospital provides free treatment.

According to Secretary Devkota, 23 people are currently undergoing treatment at Civil Hospital, 32 at Trauma Center, 25 at Tribhuvan Teaching Hospital, 35 at Kathmandu Medical College, 28 at Nepal Police Hospital, 53 at B & C Hospital in Jhapa.

Similarly, 1,379 patients who were injured during the protests have returned home after treatment.
