Kathmandu: Dr Farooq Abdullah, the former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister has fixed the nail right on the head of the racist Indian government led by the RSS activist Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is taken as a potential threat to South Asian peace and stability.

The Asian region is a flashpoint because of this unstable Prime Minister who perhaps did not deserve the high post.

Senior Abdullah though is not taken in good taste by the general Kashmiri population for his declared secret proximity with the Delhi establishment, yet, this time, whatever the old Kashmiri veteran political personality has said, is sure to displease the prejudiced and the Islamophobic Indian government for a long time to come.

In fact, Dr Abdullah who heads the National Conference party and is primarily seen as a ‘pro-India’ political persona in Jammu and Kashmir since the Nehruvian period.

As the luck would have it, Abdullah appears to have come out of the delusion better late than never.

Dr Abdullah talking to Karan Thapar last week ventilated the common desire of the caged Kashmiri population since August 5, 2019, that they would prefer now to be better ruled by the Chinese government instead of India.

Dr Abdullah’s expressions and the way he presented himself at time of the interview with Thapar was simply disturbing for the Modi regime in that Abdullah made a statement which will go a long way in the annals of Indian history wherein a veteran Indian political personality who glued himself ever to the Indian regime and remained in the good books of the rulers in Delhi beginning Nehru to Modi talks now that he and his people in Kashmir would rather prefer China’s administration than the Indian government in Kashmir.

Dr Abdullah claims that 72 hours prior to the announcement of the scrapping of the 370 and 35, he and his team had met with the Indian PM Modi and had talked about political developments in Kashmir.

During his brief face to face with PM Modi, he was confident that nothing of any sort was in store for Kashmir likely to happen in the coming few days.

However, all that happened in Kashmir shortly of his meet with Modi who took drastic decisions against the will of the Kashmir people on August 5, 2019, was a disaster for him and his voters.

Dr Abdullah, the former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and Lok Sabha MP said, “at the moment the Kashmiri people do not feel and want to be Indian, and would rather be ruled by China, so deep was their disillusion with the Centre”.

Dr Abdullah, in his own words to Karan Thapar of the WIRE, said, “well, to be honest, I wonder whether they’ll find someone who’ll call himself an Indian today. What they did, it was already difficult, but what they did on 5th of August last year, was the last stone-nail in the coffin of India. And that’s what they did. You go and talk to anybody, they don’t want to know. They’re not Pakistanis, let me be very clear about it”.

Abdullah further says, “Jinnah was right” that he created Pakistan and on the contrary, I was a damn fool not to have toed the Jinnah’s line of the correct political choice he made then”.

To yet another question of Thapar, Dr Abdullah recalled the past and said that “we cannot live together, we have to have a separate land”, that’s what Jinnah had said.

When Jinnah was even offered by Gandhi the prime ministership, Jinnah said no by telling Gandhi that “you give me the prime ministership but your majority can throw me out anytime”, Dr Abdullah reminded while talking to K Thapar.

The Kashmiri people do not feel being Indian, is what Dr Abdullah said much to the surprise of the Thapar from the Wire and also to the entire nation.

Is Kashmir then a sovereign nation awaiting just the announcement?

Nepali observers say that with Dr Abdullah’s blunt assertion, the Indian State has crumbled and India is now nonexistent.

“Well, they (Indian establishment) have lost the people”, a pained Abdullah told Thapar.

How rival neighbouring China took Dr Abdullah’s straight but soothing version that he and his people would willingly greet the Chinese rule in India Occupied Kashmir is yet unknown but what is for sure is that China will now find it easy to intrude deep into the Indian territories for multiple reasons.

Certainly, it is an open invitation to China to invade the Indian Union born 1947.

But will China occupy Kashmir or the whole of India for all time to come? Relax.

Dr Abdullah’s outbursts shared with Karan Thapar does tell that PM Modi and his team have been like the “tormentors” for the Kashmiri people wherein the presence of cruel and brutal Indian soldiers outnumber the Kashmiri population in the valley.

Each and every street in Kashmir is being controlled by Indian soldiers, adds Dr Abdullah.

But yet the champions of democracy and no sensible world leaders have so far taken up the issue of Kashmiri predicament to a sensible debate that it demands and deserves.

Abdullah has asserted, “It was complete rubbish for the BJP to claim that the people of Kashmir have accepted the August 5, 2019 changes just because there have been no protests”.

This was yet another nail fixed on the heads of PM Modi.

The worst of it all is that the Deccan Chronicle on September 25 justifies Dr Abdullah’s lament by stating: ‘the reality in Kashmir today is exactly as he says it is. This is since it ended Kashmir’s constitutional autonomy on the false pretext that this was encouraging terrorism and hindering development, the ruling dispensation put thousands in jail in Kashmir, including politicians of mainstream parties who waved the flag for India, unflinching in the face of terrorist attacks and assassination bids. There is no stabilizing center left in the Valley now, thanks to communal fanaticism being propagated, and this is a matter of the deepest worry”.

All put together, Dr Abdullah’s verbal attack on his own government must have come like an earthquake with the magnitude of 7.8 on the Richter scale by the brutal and the sadistic Islamophobic rulers seated in Delhi-the ruffian trouble maker and the destabilizer in South Asia.

Save the Turkish President Erdogan who takes up the issue of Kashmir as his own has once again blasted at the Indian government while making an official speech at the ongoing 75th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York September 22, 2020.

Dr Abdullah and President Erdogan have talked of Kashmir almost at the same time. This too must have some meaning.

President Erdogan is, in essence, fighting a war as a real stakeholder with India which is what must have brought both Pakistan and Turkey closer.

It could be Erdogan’s inner wish to win the hearts of the Muslims living in South Asian vast landmass?

To be blunt, Turkey is perhaps the best and the most reliable partner of Pakistan in the contemporary world more so after the emergence of Imran Khan as the Pakistani PM.

And for this friendship with Pakistan, the Turkish President is the number one enemy of the chauvinistic Indian regime controlled by PM Modi.

Modi last year even cancelled his visit to Turkey in protest of Turkey’s blast on Kashmir issue.

President Erdogan remains undeterred concluding that he is speaking on behalf of a population that has been denied rights of self-determination for all along seven decades plus.

Most disturbing of it all is that the United Nations Security Council that has made several resolutions in the past favouring a plebiscite for India’s tormented population of Kashmir that their right to self-determination was safe gone missing suggesting the UN body favouring India’s stance on Kashmir.

However, the UNSC has somewhat forgotten to bring into practice its own resolutions made in the past on Kashmir which allows the world people and the media at large to suspect the very intentions and the very inner motives of the UN body. The suspicion is logical indeed.

The question thus is: is the UN Body a biased international organization influenced by a recognized tormentor in South Asia which has been a threat to the peace in this vicinity and the world at large?

The newly elected President of the UNGA, Ambassador Volkan Bozkir (A Turkish national) had in Islamabad recently said that he would be very much pleased in mediating the Kashmir issue if approached by both the competing rivals.

Let’s hope that UNGA President Bozkir finds some time to recall his assurances made in Islamabad and acts by taking appropriate steps that takes care of the lingering issue of the self-determination of India ill-treated and misbehaved Kashmiris currently languishing in the Indian Occupied open-air jail in Kashmir.

Let’s now see as to how President Erdogan blasted on India on the Kashmir issue at the UN General Assembly, September 22.

If we look carefully at what President Erdogan said on Kashmir then what becomes clear that he stressed on two key pints namely: the first being that the lingering of the Kashmir conflict may have its direct impact on the peace and the stability of South Asia.

Secondly, the Turkish dignitary hinted that Kashmir conflict is still a “burning” issue which by implication meant that this matter has been left unattended even by the United Nations Security Council which had guaranteed the Kashmiris the right to self-determination through the UN-monitored referendum.

President Erdogan said, “The Kashmir conflict, which is also key to the stability and peace in South Asia, is still a burning issue. Steps were taken following the abolition of the special status of Jammu and Kashmir (have) further complicated the problem”.

We are in favour of solving this issue within the framework of the United Nations resolution and especially in line with the expectations of the people of Kashmir”.

The President though is tough towards India yet favours the mediation of the United Nations.

But then he attaches a string which he says that the UN mediation of the issue should be as per the expectations of the “aspirations” of the people of Kashmir.

To recall, last year, sometime after India had scrapped Article 370 of the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir, Turkish President Erdogan had vocally raised the issue of Kashmir at the UNGA 74th session and scathingly censured the international community for failing to pay attention to the Kashmir conflict.

This year after Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi raised the Kashmir issue, Turkish President Erdogan too slammed India on Occupied Kashmir.

At last year’s high-level meeting of the General Assembly, to recall, only Erdogan and the then Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohammed had joined Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan in talking about Kashmir in the International forum-the UNGA.

Kashmir, a Muslim-majority Himalayan region, is held by India and Pakistan in parts but claimed by both in full. A small area of the same region is also controlled by China-a country that is rival for India and Dr Abdullah wishes now to be ruled by the Chinese instead of India.

This speaks in fact of the absolute collapse on the Indian nation born 1947. On moral grounds, the President of India should dissolve the country through a nationally televised statement, earlier the better.

For the record, on Aug. 5, 2019, the Indian government had revoked Article 370 and other related provisions from its Constitution, scrapping the country’s only Muslim-majority state and its autonomy. It was also split into two federally administered territories.

It was after this scrapping of the status of Kashmir, Dr Abdullah and other Kashmiri leaders like Mehbooba Mufti were detained. These arrests made Kashmir the greatest open air Jail in the world.

As a matter of courtesy, Pakistan’s prime minister duly thanked the Turkish president for raising the Kashmir issue during his speech to the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

Khan said in his tweet, “Deeply appreciate President Recep Tayyip Erdogan once again raising voice in support of the rights of the Kashmiri people during the address to UNGA”.

Khan added that Turkey’s unwavering support remains a source of strength for the Kashmiris in their legitimate struggle for self-determination.

Similarly, Kashmiri political parties have also appreciated President Erdogan’s speech at the UN on Kashmir.

“On behalf of my party and from the voiceless and oppressed people of Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir, I express my deepest appreciation to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for his excellent and bold speech at the United Nations General Assembly session,” Nabila Irshad, chairwoman of the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Party, said in a statement issued just the other day.

Addressing the UN General Assembly (UNGA) last Friday, PM Imran Khan said that Islamophobia prevails in India today which threatens nearly 200 million Muslims lives.

“The one country in the world today where, I am sad to say, the state sponsors Islamophobia, is India. The reason behind this is RSS ideology that unfortunately rules India today,” PM Khan said in a recorded speech to the UNGA.

“They (India) believe that India is exclusive to Hindus and others are not equal citizens”, Khan pointed out.

PM Khan almost reiterated his old saying wherein he says quite often that, India has been taken over by a racially extremist exclusive Hindutva ideology”.

Nepal is predominantly a Hindu nation (though secular officially), however, the Nepali Hindus definitely are not that extremists, as could be found in India under RSS, trained and indoctrinated PM Modi. Nepal and India’s Hindus differ on so many counts. Nepali Hindus are modest.

It was this RSS, which assassinated Gandhi. The RSS ideology is very much inspired by Nazi thought.

The Al Jazeera on September 25, quoting Pakistani PM Khan’s address to the UN, writes, “there will be no durable peace and stability in South Asia until the Jammu and Kashmir dispute is resolved on the basis of international legitimacy”.

Talking on the current scheme of demographic change in Kashmir, PM Khan said, “changing the demography of the world recognized ‘disputed territory tantamount to a war crime”. That’s all.
