Kathmandu, February 22: The District Administration Office, Rautahat has again issued a curfew order today in various areas of Gaur Municipality.
According to the latest notice issued by the District Administration Office, the curfew that came into effect yesterday from 1:00 p.m. will continue uninterrupted until 6:30 a.m. today. After that, the curfew will be relaxed until 8:30 a.m. for essential work, as stated in the notice issued by Chief District Officer Dinesh Sagar Bhusal. During this period, gatherings, processions, and assemblies will not be allowed, the administration has informed.
Similarly, the notice states that the curfew will again come into effect from 8:30 a.m. until further orders are issued. The curfew order has been enforced within the area bounded by Mudbalwa Gate in the east, the Lalbakaiya embankment in the west, the bus park area in the north, and the Gaur Customs Office area in the south.
The curfew order was imposed in Gaur after a clash between two communities in Sangadha village of Ward No. 6 escalated into violence.
