Kathmandu, Feb 10: A passenger bus has plunged into the Tamakoshi River at Seleghat in Ramechhap.

The bus, bearing registration number 9975, was heading to Ragani in Okhaldhunga from Kathmandu when it fell into the river.

Five people died at the scene, according to a police officer involved in the rescue operation. Police rescued six others and sent them to a hospital for treatment.
