
Kathmandu, Feb 3: The National Assembly has approved three ordinances issued by the interim government, all aimed at the March 5, 2026 election.
The ordinances were endorsed at the Assembly’s meeting on Monday. Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal tabled proposals seeking approval for the Ordinance to Amend the Voter Registration Act, 2016, the House of Representatives Member Election Ordinance, 2025, the first amendment, and the Nepal Special Service Act Ordinance, 2025, the second amendment.
The Assembly passed all three ordinances unanimously.
