
Kathmandu, January 26: Former King Gyanendra Shah, along with his family, visited Janaki Temple and various other temples to offer prayers.
A large crowd was present there to greet the King and the Royal Family members. They welcomed the former royal family when they arrived at Janaki Temple on Monday afternoon.
Activists from Hindu organizations and the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) also chanted slogans such as “Bring back the king, save the nation.”
From Janaki Temple, former King Shah walked about half a kilometer to Ram Temple, where he offered prayers. He also performed worship at the Kaladevi Temple located within the Ram Temple premises. There, local youth from a club welcomed him.
Former King Shah arrived in Janakpur with his family on Sunday evening. Monarchists have expressed happiness over his visit to Janakpur.
