Kathmandu, January 24: The Embassy of Japan, in association with the Japan Foundation, organized the Japanese Film Festival in Kathmandu on January 23 and 24.

The Festival is also being organized in Pokhara. All the movies being screened during the festival are subtitled in English and the entry is free on the first-come-first-served basis.

In Pokhara, the films are being screened at the Pokhara Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Gaira Patan.

The scheduled screening program for Pokhara is as follows:

February 13 (Friday), 12:00 p.m.  CRAYON SHIN CHAN–BRAVO! SAMURAI BATTLE [Animation]

01:50 p.m.  Neko Ninja

14th February (Saturday)

 12:00 p.m. Shiori

 02:10 p.m.  MONDAYS: See you “this” week!

     The Embassy hopes that the film festival will contribute to the understanding of Japanese culture among the Nepalese people and, in turn, lead to the continued expansion of ever-friendly, cooperative relations between the citizens of Nepal and Japan.
