The 81st birth anniversary of the late King Birendra Shah was observed on Monday under the auspices of the Late King Birendra Peace Foundation and various other organizations.
The birth anniversary was marked by offering garlands at King Birendra’s statue and portrait in Jawalakhel. On the occasion, his contributions were also discussed.
Born on Poush 14, 2002 B.S., King Birendra was assassinated at Narayanhiti on Jestha 19, 2058 B.S.
