Kathmandu, November 10: The government has recommended Surendra Labh Karn for appointment as the Chief of Madhesh Province.

The Cabinet meeting held on Monday decided to recommend Surendra for appointment to the President.

The meeting also decided to dismiss the current Madhesh Province Chief, Sumitra Subedi Bhandari, and recommend the appointment of Labh in her place.
