September 18: Prime Minister Sushila Karki held a telephone conversation with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi today.

During the telephone conversation, Indian PM Narendra Modi said that India is ready to support Nepal to restore peace and stability.

Expressing grief over the recent loss of lives in Nepal, Modi conveyed India’s strong support to PM Karki’s efforts to restore peace and stability in the country. PM Modi extended greetings to the people of Nepal on the occasion of Constitution Day on Friday.

After the phone call with Prime Minister Karki, Indian Prime Minister Modi wrote on X, “Had a warm conversation with Mrs. Sushila Karki, Prime Minister of the Interim Government of Nepal.”

“We express our deepest condolences to those who have lost their lives in the recent tragic incidents and reaffirm India’s unwavering support for his efforts to restore peace and stability”.
