Kathmandu, September 18: Durga Prasai, a medical practitioner and activist, released a video expressing his views on the recent incidents of violence in the country.
Paying tribute to those who lost their lives in the incidents of September 8 and 9, he wished a speedy recovery to the injured. Prasai clarified that he and members of his campaign were not involved in the movement.
Condemning the vandalism, arson and attack on government property during the movement, he opined that the responsibility should be taken by the concerned parties.

Prasai has objected to the tendency to call his campaign “royalist,” claiming that he is a “nationalist.” He alleged that the influence and conspiracy of Western powers have been intensifying in Nepal for the last 13 years. He said that the ultimate aim of this conspiracy is to push Nepal towards a situation like ‘Ukraine’ by making it a battlefield of geopolitical competition.
He described the Royal Palace bloodbath, the rise of the Biveksheel Party and the Rastriya Swatantra Party as a single chain, alleging that all these developments were an attempt to end the Vedic Sanatan Dharma and royal institution of Nepal.

According to Prasai, a plan has been put forward to make the younger generation flee abroad and eventually take Nepal under Western control.
