
Kathmandu, Sept 1: A visiting delegation from India’s National Defence College, including students and faculty from various countries, has arrived in Nepal. During their study visit, the delegation also toured the Nepal Army’s military headquarters.
According to the Nepal Army, a courtesy meeting was held between Chief of Army Staff General Ashok Raj Sigdel and Rekha Yadav, Additional Secretary of India’s National Defence College. After the meeting, the delegation was briefed on the Nepal Army.
As part of the Neighborhood Study Tour program, the delegation will also visit historical, religious, and tourist sites across the country, including Kathmandu.
The Nepal Army expressed confidence that such study visits will further strengthen military ties between the two countries.
