Kathmandu, Aug 25: The 17th edition of the NADA Auto Show 2025 at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu, has concluded. The event, which began on August 19, ended today, August 24.
NADA President Karan Chaudhary said this year’s Auto Show was a grand success. “We were able to make the 17th edition of the NADA Auto Show 2025 truly grand,” he said. “Statistics show that more than 160,000 people visited this historic show.”
Chaudhary described the six days of NADA as a historic achievement. “I take these achievements of the NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal as a new beginning. This has raised our expectations further and strengthened our confidence to make Nepal an emerging hub for automobile innovation and future-focused mobility solutions,” he added.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Minister for Health and Population Pradeep Paudel said he would raise the policy concerns voiced by NADA in the Cabinet. He noted that thousands of road accidents occur in Nepal every year and that strengthening road safety measures could reduce the number significantly.
“According to government statistics, seven people die daily,” he said. “But these figures may not be entirely accurate since many accidents are not reported. So the real number is even higher.”
Throughout the exhibition, NADA organized daily interaction programs on various topics. On Saturday, a session on road and transport issues was held in the presence of Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office Chief Navaraj Adhikari.
NADA informed that no panel discussion was held on Sunday due to the closing program. People’s News Monitoring Service
