
Kathmandu, August 17: Two thousand 392 UML cadres are going to attend the second legislative session of the UML to be held from September 5 to 7.
According to Rajendra Gautam, head of the UML Publicity and Publication Department, 2,128 delegates and 264 organizers will participate in the AGM.
He said that some central members will also be in the capacity of organizers as only the representatives of the 10th National Convention held in Chitwan in 2017 will be the representatives of the Legislative Assembly. He informed that the preparations for the conference are going on in full swing.
A digital card will be provided to the delegates attending the conference. At the same time, at least 300 volunteers are ready to be deployed at the convention venue.
The head of the publicity department, Gautam, informed that it has been decided to establish a systematic 'news desk' for the ease of communicating news to the media.
Similarly, to make the convention a grand one, there is a plan to install reception gates at various places from Satdobato to Sunrise Hall in Godavari and to arrange public transport from Satdobato to Godavari.
Gautam, head of the publicity department, said that Bhadau had given time to the sub-committee to give suggestions on the legislation by 10th of this month. According to him, Prime Minister and Chairman KP Sharma Oli will present the political report, Vice-Chairman Bishnu Prasad Poudel will present the proposal on the legislative amendment and Secretary General Shankar Pokharel will present the organizational report.
