Kathmandu, Aug 12: The names of Nepalis missing in floods and landslides in the Uttarkashi and Pauri Garhwal districts of Uttarakhand, India, have been made public.
The Nepali Embassy in India released the list, which includes 26 individuals: 21 missing in Uttarkashi and 5 in Pauri Garhwal. According to the embassy, the floods and landslides occurred in Uttarkashi on August 5 and in Pauri Garhwal on August 6, sweeping away several people, including Nepalis. Here is the namelist:
