Kathmandu, Aug 12: After six days of activities, the “Naima Nepal Mobility Expo 2025” organised by the Nepal Automobile Importers and Manufacturers Association (NAIMA) concluded on Monday evening in an energetic atmosphere.
The expo, which began on August 5, attracted more than 100,000 visitors. The presence of representatives from government and non-government organisations, local leaders, industrialists, journalists, automobile entrepreneurs, diplomats, and the general public made the event lively.
During the closing ceremony, NAIMA president Ritu Singh Vaidya said the expo was more successful than expected and thanked all participants, partners, and visitors. “These six days have been an amazing experience. With more than 100,000 visitors, strong sales at every stall, active participation in panel discussions, and your energy and enthusiasm, this has become the biggest auto show in Nepal,” she said.
She credited the success to the support of sponsors National Insurance and Everest Bank, as well as various partner organizations.
NAIMA’s executive director, Rajkumar Dulal, said that through the learning sessions held over the six days, the organization had promoted the message of sustainable development in the mobility sector. Eminent experts from Nepal and India had conducted free training and interactive sessions during the expo.
Visitor numbers were as follows: first day 15,000, second day 13,500, third day 19,500, fourth day 21,500, fifth day 22,000, and final day 7,800.
