Kathmandu, August 3: Dr. Shekhar Koirala, a leader of the ruling Nepali Congress, has accused the government of being non-transparent, unaccountable, and irresponsible. While addressing a program honoring Mukti Prasad Yadunath Chapagain organized by the Gurans Library in Biratnagar on Sunday, he mentioned that the people have not been able to feel good governance.
The government is neither accountable, nor responsible, nor transparent right now. Good governance is essential for all these things, Koirala stated. He believed that democracy itself is in danger due to the improper functioning of the executive, legislative, and judiciary.
