Kathmandu, August 2: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to visit Turkmenistan on Sunday August 3. He will lead the Nepali delegation to the 3rd United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries in Turkmenistan.
The summit will be held in Turkmenistan from August 5 to 10. PM Oli is attending the summit at the invitation of President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.

PM Oli is to address the conference in his capacity as the Chairman of the Global Coordination Bureau of the Least Developed Countries (LDCs), according to the Foreign Ministry.
PM Oli will co-chair the high-level roundtable conference of the conference as well as address other programs.
Apart from this, Oli is scheduled to meet with the heads of delegations of various countries, high-level persons of the United Nations and other international organizations on the sidelines of the conference.

Oli will be accompanied by his wife Radhika Shakya, Chief Adviser Bishnu Prasad Rimal, CPN-UML MP Surya Bahadur Thapa Kshetri and other high-ranking government officials. Oli is scheduled to return home on August 8.
