Kathmandu, July 31: A police complaint has been filed against Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and 15 others, accusing them of abusing power and engaging in human trafficking. The complaint was submitted to the Kathmandu District Police Office via post by Yubaraj Paudel ‘Saphal’ from Sindhuli.

In his complaint, Paudel alleges that Prime Minister Oli and several high-ranking officials misused their authority while in office to facilitate human trafficking. He has demanded the arrest and investigation of PM Oli, Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak, and several former home ministers.

The individuals named in the complaint include Deputy Speaker Indira Rana, and former home ministers Bamdev Gautam, Krishna Sitaula, Bhim Rawal, Bijay Kumar Gachhadar, Shakti Bahadur Basnet, Bimalendra Nidhi, Bal Krishna Khand, Rabi Lamichhane, Ram Bahadur Thapa, and Narayan Kaji Shrestha. Former Labor Minister Dol Prasad Aryal has also been included in the list.

Previously, Paudel had filed a similar complaint at the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA), demanding action against Prime Minister Oli and others. However, Kathmandu Police Chief SSP Bishwaraj Adhikari stated that while the complaint has been received, it cannot be officially registered.
