

A move for a united Left stand against the government party and its allegedly anti-people policy has failed, it is relic blylearnt.
Meetings held among the UML, the Unity Centre, Masal, UML and the Workers and Peasants party to launch a united struggle against the congress have not proved successful.
It is said that outstanding differences between the Unity Centre and the Masal on the one hand and the UML effort to keep up its democratic façade and credentials have come up as obstacles in the latest attempt for a united Left movement in the country.
Differences in the various hues of the Left made it difficult to deliver a common program me for joint struggle despite the call already made for such, it is reliably learnt.
