Kathmandu, May 25: Former King Gyanendra Shah, Queen Komal and other members of the Royal family, along with his grandson Navayubraj Hirdayendra, reached the Narayanhitty Royal Palace on Saturday.

Grandson Hirdayendra has just arrived from the USA, where he is obtaining higher education.  

Reports state that Hirdayendra wished to meet his great-grandmother, Queen Mother Ratna, who is staying at the Mahendra Manjil, grandfather King Gyanendra took him to the Palace.

Before reaching the Mahendra Manjil, King Gyanendra and other members of the family performed a special pooja at the “Shree Chakrabihyu Narayan Dham” at the Royal Palace premises, informed RPP leader Rishiraj Devkota.
