Kathmandu, May 29: RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden has said that the movement, which will begin on May 29, will not be violent. Speaking at a protest program preparation meeting held in Kathmandu on Tuesday, Lingden said that the protest, which will begin on May 29, will be kept under complete control and there will be no violent demonstration.

Meanwhile, he remarked that the government should not encourage any kind of repression or incite violence. He informed that the organizing committee has requested the Human Rights Commission as well as other international organizations to monitor the protest to be held on May 29.

Chairman Lingden mentioned that the protestors have aimed to establish their values through civil disobedience or Satyagraha. He claimed that this time a decisive movement is going to be launched.

On the same occasion, Lingden, responding statement by Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli, said that helicopter facilities would be provided to those who are unable to escape if they are not ready to compromise.

Similarly, RPP Nepal Chairman Kamal Thapa said that they will go door to door to inform the people about their movement. He urged people to participate in the demonstration with confidence as the upcoming movement will be peaceful. Chairman Thapa said that corrupt rulers will be defeated through the presence of the people and their agenda will be established.
