
Kathmandu, May 18: The United People's Movement Committee for Restoration of Monarchy, led by Nabaraj Subedi, has intensified preparations for the capital-centered movement starting from May 29.
To attract public participation in the movement, it has also been decided to conduct a valley-wide awareness campaign. A meeting held at the central office of RPP in Dhumbarahi has decided to start a five-day awareness campaign centered in Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur.
The campaign, which will start from Sankhu in Kathmandu, will conclude at Changunarayan in Bhaktapur, passing through the Kath area (residences around core cities of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur). "A working committee was formed to finalize the program, and the committee presented a detailed plan at the meeting," the source said.
A meeting has also been organized to effectively implement the program. The meeting, chaired by the coordinator of the United People's Movement Committee, Nabaraj Subedi, was attended by representatives including RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden, RPP Nepal Chairman Kamal Thapa, Keshar Bahadur Bista from Matribhuvi Shakti Nepal, Nepali Congress (B.P.), Nation, Nationality, Religion, Culture, Citizen Rescue Campaign, Shiv Sena Nepal, Nepalis for Nepal, Shiv Sena Nepal, National Concern Forum, and Bishwa Hindu Mahasangh.
Similarly, regarding the necessity, justification, and importance of the people's movement, an interaction program with the enlightened classes from various sectors has been scheduled for Monday, May 20, and preparations are underway, informed Rajaram Bartaula, the General Secretary of RPP Nepal. "The interaction will take place in the presence of top leaders," he said.
