
Kathmandu, May 16: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli said that saving the mountains means saving the earth, the oceans, and humanity itself.
Addressing the inaugural session of the Sagarmatha Dialogue organized for the first time by the Government of Nepal, he also said that the 'Sagarmatha Dialogue' was organized as a global dialogue by understanding this reality connected to the Himalayas.
He also mentioned that the dialogue was named after Mount Sagarmatha (Everest), the world's highest peak, to facilitate honest dialogue, exchange of mutual knowledge, and collective action.
