
Kathmandu, May 16: Nepal is hosting Sagarmatha Sambad on global climate change in Kathmandu, drawing attention to the climate and its impact on the Mountains and seas.
The three-day conference, starting today will conclude on May 18, and will be inaugurated by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
A total of 175 foreign delegates and 350 total participants including lawmakers, ministers, and climate specialists from various countries are attending the international summit.
Nepal was expecting high-level representation, at least foreign minister level, from India, China, and Pakistan, however, due to the Indo-Pak dispute, the event has been overshadowed.
