Kathmandu, May 13: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) will take responsibility for all those arrested in the Tankune incident. Party president Rajendra Lingden has decided that the RPP will assist in the legal process of the patriotic-nationalist detainees in police custody.

RPP spokesperson Mohan Shrestha informed that party chairman Lingden made this announcement at the meeting of the United People's Movement Committee held on Sunday. RPP will bear the financial responsibility for the legal procedures of all those arrested in the violent incident in Threekun, Shrestha said.

Chairman Lingden has also urged the legal professionals and lawyers affiliated with RPP to make the necessary preparations for this. The monarchist leaders have praised this sense of responsibility shown by the RPP.
