
Kathmandu, May 11: The Joint People’s Movement for Restoration of the Institution of Monarchy has urged all sections of people to participate in the movement for restoration of monarchy starting from May 29.
The Committee has asked those pro-monarchy groups, organizations and people across the country to join the movement.
The meeting of the Coordinating Committee held under the chair of coordinator Navaraj Subedi in Kathmandu decided to request all the pro-monarchy and pro-Hindu groups for their active participation in the movement.
It has also been decided to call upon people from all sections, professions, and communities in Kathmandu for their active participation, according to a statement issued by coordinator Subedi.
The Committee has also requested the common Nepali to donate cash for the success of the movement. Addressing the meeting, Subedi said that for the first time after the announcement of the movement, the message of all nationalist forces standing together has gone. He said, "The environment is very good." Now everyone has to work together to make the movement successful. There is a strong possibility of restoration of constitutional monarchy and Sanatan Hindu Raj."
The meeting also decided to make necessary preparations to gather a large number of youth volunteers on May 27 and to mobilize the participation of the people who arrived from outside Kathmandu in the movement. Subedi has also decided to urge the National Human Rights Commission and the national and international human rights organizations to monitor the movement that will be peaceful from May 29.
