
Kathmandu, May 9: Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak said that Nepal’s stand is clear on the ongoing conflict between India and Pakistan.
At a meeting with India’s BJP leader Bhagat Singh Koshyari at his residence in Bhaishepati, Lalitpur on Thursday, Lekhak made it clear that the Government of Nepal is against terrorist attacks while condemning the terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir.
Minister Lekhak vowed not to allow his land to be used against neighboring countries. He said that he had discussed with Koshyari, a senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party, further strengthening the age-old friendly relations between Nepal and India.
The statement of the Home Minister and also the Foreign Ministry gave the message that Nepal sided with India in the ongoing India-Pakistan armed conflict. Nepal believes the Indian strikes on Pakistan are against terrorism.
