
Kathmandu, May 9: Indian Ambassador Naveen Srivastava paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli today at the PM’s official residence in Baluatar.
During the meeting, the Indian Ambassador briefed about the terrorist attacks at Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir on April 12. The Indian envoy briefed about the latest developments on the ongoing India-Pakistan tensions.
The envoy extended thanks to Oli for the statement issued by the Nepal government on Thursday, May 8.
During the meeting, PM Oli opined that Nepal is for global peace, condemns all kinds of terrorism and strongly condemns the Pahalgam terrorist attack.
Oli further stated that Nepal will never allow its soil to be used against any of its friendly neighbors.
