Kathmandu, May 8: The Movement for the Restoration of the Monarchy and the Protection of the Sanatan Hindu religion has announced an indefinite period of movement.

The Coordinator of the Committee formed for the restoration of the monarchy, Navaraj Subedi, announced at a press conference held in the capital today (Thursday) that an indefinite people's movement would begin.

"We will start an indefinite period of peaceful people's movement from May 29," said Subedi, "Our movement will be based on Satyagraha and civil disobedience."

He clarified that the movement will not be against any political party or government but will focus on system change.

The announcement meeting was attended by leaders including the chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), Rajendra Lingden, the chairman of RPP Nepal, Kamal Thapa, and chairman of the Rastriya Shakti Nepal, Keshar Bahadur Bista.
