The Gokarneshwar Municipality and the Town Development Committee jointly organized an industrial skill development orientation program on April 30.

Santosh Chalise, MP of the Federal Parliament, inaugurated the program.

Dipak Risal, Mayor, of the Gokarneshwar Municipality, distributed certificates to locals who obtained training during the workshop.

Campus Chief of the Jaya Multiple College, BhawaniPrasad Paudel, Shambhu Adhikari, Lakpa Tamang, instructor Tarabahadur Thapa, Youth Sports Committee’s president Sanjaya Lama and Rajendra Bhandari addressed the function.

Former Mahasamiti member of the Nepali Congress, Madhav Khanal delivered a welcome address at the function chaired by Phorsang Lama.

Such skill development program has been beneficial for self-employment generation, said the participants in the training.
