Kathmandu, May 5: Nepali Congress leader Dr. Shekhar Koirala has said that the government has failed to implement the seven-point agreement reached during the formation of the present NC-UML coalition government.

Speaking to media persons at the Parliament building, New Baneshwor, on Monday, Koirala said that the government has failed in implementing the seven-point agreement, including amending the constitution, economic reforms, eradicating corruption, ending impunity, and maintaining good governance.

He opined that the constitution should be reviewed only after taking the opinions of all political parties in the House as well as stakeholders, and not by the two-thirds majority of the UML and Nepali Congress.
