
Kathmandu, May 4: Japanese Ambassador to Nepal Maeda Toru paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli today.
The Prime Minister's Secretariat stated that during the meeting held at the Prime Minister's residence in Baluwatar, various issues of bilateral relations and interests, as well as, enhancing mutual cooperation and exchange, were discussed.
The 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries will be celebrated next year by organizing special programs. The meeting was attended by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the secretariat said.
