The recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu & Kashmir, India, killing 27 Hindus—26 Indian and one Nepali national—is a heinous and condemnable crime. Such a killing of innocent people in the name of religious belief is unforgivable crime.

We saw florishing terrorism in the region, whether it was the LTTE bloody war in Sri Lanka, the Maoists’ bloody “people’s war” and also other cross-border terrorist attacks in Nepal or frequent attacks in Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa or other parts of Pakistan, killing of sitting Indian PMs Indira Gandhi and Rajeev Gandhi, terrorist attacks in Mumbai, Delhi and Jammu & Kashmir, among others. These all are condemnable crimes, whoever be involved in such bloody acts.

Many of India's ex-RAW officials and also India's academicians, diplomats and political leaders including SD Muni, Shyam Sharan, Ranjit Rae, and the late Pranav Mukharjee, among others, have confirmed that the Maoists--terrorists declared by the Indian government--were supported and sponsored by India. Finally, the Maoists, under the Indian government’s instruction, inked a 12-point agreement followed by a comprehensive peace agreement.

The killings of 17 thousand innocent Nepalis by the Maoists were a big wound among the Nepalis. The destruction of hundreds of infrastructural projects pushed Nepal the decades back era.

The present camel-like constitution has further destroyed the nation. Financially it has ruined the nation as rampant corruption has florished and the general sector expenditure has gone beyond the government's capacity. If the present political system continues, very soon, the nation is going to be bankrupt. For half a decade, the government has been unable to increase the salary of the civil servicemen, the government has not been able to respond to the demands of the teachers saying that it is unable to bear an increase of billions of rupees worth additional financial burden on the government treasury. These are the outcomes of the political system we have adopted.

Vested interested foreign forces are active in destroying Nepal.  It is an open secret that Shyam Sharan, an anti-Nepal diplomat and then Indian foreign secretary, played a cunning game to declare Nepal a republic. Another Indian ambassador Shiva Shankar Mukharjee worked to impose federalism with the plan of weakening Nepal with the plan of bringing the Himalayan kingdom under the Indian security umbrella.

Nepal was declared a secular nation in the interests of the British Christian groups in the British Embassy here. Nepal adopted the inclusive and proportional mechanism under George Soros’ plan for dividing the country into different ethnic communities.

Those foreigners paid Nepali agents are defining the present political model as an offensive system, in fact, the nation is heading towards a regressive destination. All the government agencies have already been spoiled. The government lacks funds for necessary capital expenditure. During the Panchayat days, Nepal’s capital expenditure was above 70 percent, which has now declined to the surface.

The National Planning Commission has stated that Nepal requires a significant budget to implement the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030, estimating an investment of approximately Rs 21.065 trillion, about 45.4% of Nepal’s Gross Domestic Product. It is a challenge for the government to manage necessary funds. Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel has informed that it has become difficult to manage funds for general sector expenditure through the domestic revenue.

To conclude, the present political system is pushing the nation towards a serious crisis in all sectors. The political leaders have no time to think about the domestic as well as international economic activities and changing international order. They are seen as reluctant to develop programs to cope with the upcoming global challenges.

We believe the powerful countries are playing against the prosperity of the small countries with the plan of keeping such weak and poor countries permanently poor.

The democratic values have already been eroded; democracy is dominated by foul games; after all, the principles of capitalism have already been ended.

In such a crisis period, both domestically and globally, every nation should try to end the foul games and establish the rule of law by ending the dirty practice of performing hegemony, imperialism and autocratic attitude even by promoting/sponsoring terrorism.
