Any form of terrorism is condemnable and the heinous killing of 26 Indian nationals plus one Nepali national in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir in India on April 22 is seriously deplorable.

The recent development is that India has alleged Pakistan for sponsoring the Pahalgam terrorist attack and immediately decided to suspend the Indus River agreement, stopping the natural flow of the River and creating a water crisis in Pakistan. Pakistan has taken this issue as an act of war. Both sides have issued a persona non grata against each other's diplomats and suspended visas issued to citizens from each other’s countries. Pakistan has suspended the air route permission for Indian aircraft in Pakistan's sky. If the Indian aircraft cannot fly over Pakistan, it will have to make a big circle towards the south while flying to and from the Western destinations. Moreover, both sides are preparing for war, and already, cross-firing in the India-Pakistan border areas has started. Maybe, the possible war will be beneficial for those who are in power in India and Pakistan but the people and the nation will be great sufferers. Furthermore, those global powers will benefit from such a war against humanity and civilisation. Not a secret that Russia and Ukraine have suffered from the prolonged war and how the USA is trying to benefit from the war, it is in front of us. The USA wants a war in the South Asian region. If a war between India and Pakistan starts, how long does it last, how costly would it be for both nations and what impact on the South Asian region, we can assume!

India believes to be a regional power but why was it unable to protect its citizens from the terrorist attacks, where lies the weaknesses of India? The Indians should evaluate. Every time, the Indians blame Nepal for contributing to cross-border terrorism, crime and smuggling of fake Indian currency. Every time, the Nepali side asks the Indian side to regulate the Nepal-India international borders to control cross-border crime and terrorist activities, unfortunately, the Indian side has not responded to Nepal’s request. Nepal believes that many ongoing bilateral problems can be resolved if implemented the EPG report but the Indian PM is refusing to receive the report. It is painful for the Nepalis that India has announced an open-up of a route for Indians visiting the Mansarobar area in Tibet, China, via India-occupied Nepal’s Kalapani-Limpiyadhura-Lipulekh territory.

Let’s not forget that there is no caste, religion and border of terrorism; therefore, let's not sponsor but end terrorism.
