Kathmandu, April 29: Chairman of Rastriya Shakti Nepal and pro-monarchy leader Keshar Bahadur Bista said that if there were no king in the country, there would be no Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda either.

He made this statement while addressing a rally organized by the RPP Nepal at Bhrikuti Mandap in Kathmandu on Monday. Bista said, "If there were no king, Prachanda would not exist today. Keep this in mind. The king is not like Prachanda who kills people wherever he finds them."

He mentioned that during the People's War, the then Royal Nepal Army repeatedly exploded bombes but just after an hour and Prachanda could escape and his life was saved.
