Kathmandu, April 27: Supreme Court Chief Justice Prakash Man Singh Raut left for the KH on a 10-day visit.

Raut, along with Supreme Court Registrar Bimal Poudel, departed from Tribhuvan International Airport this morning.

The delegation will also include Supreme Court Justice Hari Prasad Phuyal, Special Court Justice Ritendra Thapa, and Patan High Court Justice Hemant Rawal. Phuyal, Thapa, and Rawal are flying to London via New Delhi, India.

Supreme Court spokesperson Achyut Kuikel informed that the visit is being made as part of an official visit to the Supreme Court of the UK and other courts at the invitation of the UK government and in the context of expanding bilateral relations. The team is scheduled to return home on May 6.
