Kathmandu, April 26: Rastriya Prajatantra Party’s Chairman Rajendra Lingden, addressing the Federal Parliament meeting on Friday, blamed Nepali Congress’ Co-General Secretary Mahendra Yadav’s son was involved in the Bhatbhateni looting on March 28, on the day of organizing the peaceful assembly in Tinkune, Kathmandu.

However, the police released him without taking action, Lingden said.

Lingden claimed that he held the evidence about Yadav’s son’s involvement and asked the Home Minister to take necessary action.

The next day after the address in Parliament, on Saturday, April 26, a group of the Nepali Congress activists in Janakpur led by NC’s Madhesh Province Council Member Kumarkant Jha, organized a demonstration at Laximiniya by disrupting the Janakpur-Dhalkewar Highway. The demonstrators burnt an effigy of Lingden demanding strong action against him for giving false statements.
