
Kathmandu, April 22: Nawaraj Subedi, coordinator of the Joint People's Movement Committee for the Restoration of the Monarchy, has been freed from home arrest since March 28.
He issued a statement saying that the police surveillance that had been placed on him since March 28 has been lifted.
"I was under police surveillance for 24 hours a day since last Chaitra 15 (March 28)," he said. "The surveillance has been lifted from today and I have returned to the regular work of the Joint People's Movement Committee."
