Kathmandu, April 20: Leaders of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party, including its Chairman, Rajendra Lingden, were arrested while staging a symbolic protest in Singha Durbar. They were arrested after a symbolic demonstration in Singha Durbar, which the government declared a prohibited zone, on Sunday afternoon. Among those arrested are Chairman Lingden, Vice Chairman Buddhman Tamang, and Spokesperson Gyan Bahadur Shahi.

Before going to the protest site, they gathered at the party's parliamentary party office in Singhadurbar. RPP has alleged that unruly police were deployed in front of the parliamentary party office inside Singhadurwar.
